Pedigree

Looney was born the seventh pup of Rhythm and Taffe's first litter of 8 pups. He was very social, playing and sleeping with the cats, wrestling with other dogs, and snuggling with grandchildren and visitors. At three months of age, Looney was selected as the Puppy Sweepstakes Winner in the Tibetan Mastiff of America's National Competition, competing against puppies 3-months to 18-months old from some of the nation's finest Tibetan Mastiff kennels. One judge described him as the best TM puppy he had seen in 20 years, and today Looney is proving that in the AKC ring.

Looney combines an easy-going personality with intelligence, expressiveness, and magnificent conformation. Looney is five years old and stands a wicket-measured 27 inches (68.58cm) at the shoulder and weighs in like a stud.

At home, Looney has taken over from his father as Alpha. As the gentle leader of the pack, Looney stifles fights, teaches the youngsters pack protocol and Kung Fu, actively patrols the property, and nibbles on the necks of his girls. It is a job he takes seriously and does it with enthusiasm.

Looney Tune qualified for the 2007 AKC/Eukanuba Classic.
