Vittoria had
to work to be accepted by the other TMs residing in
the Tribal Rhythm pack. She got tumbled, hit from behind,
and rolled by TMs two and three times her size, but
she fought back, teeth gleaming, to win one battle
after another. It was her bravery that attracted Looney
Tune to her, and it wasn’t long before he became her
champion. When mating time approaches, he ignores the
other girls who flirt with him, and follows Vittoria
on her daily walks. The two can often be found sitting
side-by-side under a tree, or keeping close watch for
bicyclists, concrete trucks, and wayward runners from
their sawdust mountain lookout in winter pasture.
Vittoria is reminiscent of Grace Kelly – intelligent,
soft-spoken, graceful and regal. Vittoria is most certainly
feminine, and a lady. Unmoved by squabbles among the
pack, she endeavors to play and challenge the problem
with positive action. She moves with dignity, self-assured
and proud, and will someday, soon, make an excellent
mother.
Vittoria was IABCA National Junghund
Champion in 2005. Some of the judges comments about
her during that year included "very impressive dog/calm
demeanor," "profuse coat, thick and heavy," "well-built,
powerful young female," "broad, nicely proportioned
head, beautiful feminine shape," "good spring of rib," "powerful
back angulation with well let-down hocks," and "nice
side gait action." Vittoria stands 24 inches at the
shoulder and weighs 91 pounds, well within AKC standards.
As the comments from the judges indicate, she has great
conformation.
Vittoria sports a long, thick and well-textured
black-and-tan coat with white accents that give her "curb
appeal." She has soft chestnut-colored eyes and a wonderful
Mae West swing when she walks. She was born in Italy
and lets you know that she's an Italian woman.
